About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Security Engineer to join our State Street Global Cybersecurity team. As a Staff Security Engineer - Identity Threats & IAM Defense, you will play a critical role in protecting user identities and identity-based systems from cyber threats. You will be responsible for developing and driving the execution of identity threat research and proactive defense, employing architectural understanding, analytic skills, and engineering tools to secure the identity surface.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the execution of identity threat research and proactive defense, employing architectural understanding, analytic skills, and engineering tools to secure the identity surface.

• Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions, leveraging your expertise in identity and access management policy application and enforcement.

• Collaborate with IAM architects, IT security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and effective security measures.

• Document implemented solutions and provide training to end-users or IT staff, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity.

• Participate in regular security audits and compliance activities, maintaining the highest standards of security and governance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, including SecOps, penetration testing, security analytics, threat hunting, and/or security architecture.

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, with 6+ years of experience.

• Proven ability to independently drive transformational security projects cross-organization, with a strong track record of delivering results and demonstrating ownership.

• Experience with security observability and identity threat monitoring in hybrid cloud environments, as well as knowledge of security testing and penetration testing tools and techniques.
