$30 to $34 per hour.
Position Overview:
Adex Corporation manages a varied fleet of vehicles, trailers, and motorized machinery.
The Vehicle Maintenance Specialist is tasked with ensuring that this machinery is maintained to meet safety and compliance standards while keeping detailed maintenance records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct preventative maintenance assessments on company vehicles and machinery
- Execute repairs on chassis and related equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair complete drive-train systems
- Diagnose and rectify issues in AC and DC electrical systems
- Identify and repair hydraulic system problems
- Maintain both paper and digital service records for automotive equipment
- Additional duties may be assigned as necessary by the company
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in computer usage, including but not limited to MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to effectively locate online resources and materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Must be able to obtain a valid unrestricted California Commercial Driver's License, including Air Brake endorsement.
- If required at the job site, proficiency in operating a vehicle with a standard (manual shift) transmission is necessary. The license must remain current as a condition of employment.
