Job Summary:

Ferring Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Portland, Oregon. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Ferring products to healthcare professionals in the orthopaedics field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including surgeons, physicians, and other key stakeholders
  • Provide product training and support to customers, including product demonstrations and clinical presentations
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and customer service, to drive business results

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, with occasional overnight stays
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, with occasional lifting of heavier items
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional standing and walking
