About the Role

Zions Bancorporation is a leading financial services company operating in western markets. As a Financial Analyst, you will be part of the Business Line Financial Planning and Analysis department, responsible for developing talent that drives the organization's long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct profitability analysis and financial reporting for various business lines and lending units.
  • Assist business leaders in understanding the profitability of products and loans offered by the Bank.
  • Develop and analyze financial statements and other financial documents to inform management decisions.
  • Complete analysis in areas such as cost analysis, pricing, valuation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Prepare financial planning reports, ad hoc analysis reports, and economic valuations.
  • Interact with senior finance management and business line leadership across the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or another business-related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, analytics, or forecasting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prepare oral and written reports.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment and multitask.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to various audiences.
  • Experience with SQL, SAS, R, or Python required.
  • Experience with Power BI and Business Objects a plus.
