BioPharma Research Scientist at KCAS Bio
At KCAS Bio, we are committed to advancing the health of our communities through innovative research. As a BioPharma Research Scientist, you will be integral to our mission, managing the comprehensive execution of bioanalytical studies.
Our BioPharma LBA/Biomarker Services laboratory focuses on the quantification of proteins and anti-drug antibodies across various stages of drug development, including early discovery, preclinical assessments, and clinical trials. You will engage with state-of-the-art technologies such as ligand-binding assay platforms, LCMS, and flow cytometry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and implement bioanalytical assay methodologies and validation processes.
- Employ standard immunoassay techniques including ELISA, MSD, and Luminex.
- Design intricate experiments adhering to regulatory standards and industry protocols.
- Identify and resolve assay-related issues while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead project teams and provide mentorship to junior personnel.
- Collaborate with clients and regulatory auditors as required.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in assay development and troubleshooting.
- Uphold the values and mission of the organization in all professional activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with applicable experience.
- Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Experience with ligand-binding assays is essential.
- Proficiency in Watson LIMS is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
- Experience with cell-based assays is a plus.
