About the Role:
As a Lead Bioanalytical Scientist at KCAS Bio, you will engage in vital work that influences both our industry and global health. Your role will involve problem-solving and innovation within the bioanalytical domain.

Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will:

  • Function autonomously as a Principal Scientist and a technical authority in the oversight and execution of bioanalytical validations and studies.
  • Provide guidance to laboratory personnel, mentoring them in protocol interpretation, method development, and problem resolution.
  • Independently analyze and discuss study results with research teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepare comprehensive final reports, ensuring the integration of subcontractor reports as necessary.
  • Supervise scientific staff and manage the activities of assigned groups to ensure optimal performance.
  • Review and assess protocols, reports, and scientific documents prepared by team members.
  • Lead scientific and technical initiatives within your unit to address analytical challenges and evaluate new technologies for potential integration.
  • Monitor and enhance the technical skills of team members through coaching and mentorship.
  • Attend scientific conferences and training sessions to further develop professional skills.
  • Ensure proper archiving of reports and study documentation upon study completion.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience in contract research, academia, or the pharmaceutical sector, with a focus on validation and bioanalysis.
  • A comprehensive understanding of GLPs and departmental SOPs.
  • Experience in designing and executing bioanalytical assays, including method development and validation.
  • Proficiency with common immunoassay platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Expertise in delivering quality service to clients within budget and timelines.
