Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to the registration staff, ensuring they are equipped to handle the demands of the Emergency Department.
- Registration Operations: Coordinate and supervise the registration process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data entry and patient flow.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the registration staff.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the registration process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with other departments, including the Emergency Department, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree preferred.
- Experience: Prior supervisory experience in ER admissions or a related field; 2 years of registration experience in an acute setting required.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; experience with Cerner Millennium preferred.
