Ski Instructor

Alyeska Resort is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Ski and Snowboard Instructor to join our team. As a member of our Mountain Sports School, you will be responsible for teaching alpine skiing and snowboarding to children and adults of all ability levels. Our ideal candidate is a passionate and patient individual who is committed to providing exceptional guest experiences and promoting a love of skiing and snowboarding.

• Teach alpine skiing and snowboarding lessons to children and adults of all ability levels.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual student goals and ability levels.
• Provide exceptional guest service and maintain a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with other instructors and resort staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Must have excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Able to ski/snowboard at an intermediate level in terrain with variable conditions.
• Experience working with children, preferred.
• Able to work in variable weather.
• Ability to ski / snowboard while demonstrating maneuvers to students throughout the duration of a lesson for up to 6 hours per day, required.
• PSIA Level 1, or foreign equivalent, preferred.
• Uncertified of inexperienced positions available; We offer a robust New Instructor Training Program.
• Able to work weekends and holidays, required.
