Job Title: Release Manager/Release Train Engineer

Redan LLC is seeking a highly skilled Release Manager/Release Train Engineer to join our team in the federal sector.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to manage and coordinate releases across multiple projects, play the role of a Release Train Engineer (RTE) that aligns multiple Agile Release Trains (ART), and oversee a team of scrum-masters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee production releases for O&M and enhancement projects, including management of customer communications and delivery of release documentation.
  • Facilitate ART events and processes, supporting teams in delivering value, and ensuring the success of the ART.
  • Coordinate and align ART activities with the program roadmap.
  • Serve as a liaison between management, technical, and operations teams to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Implement PI planning events.
  • Supervise a team of scrum-masters.
Requirements:
  • Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience + bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting large Federal government IT programs in an Agile environment, preferably in the Human Capital space (5+ years).
  • Experience as an RTE leading Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and facilitating Planning Interval (PI) events (2+ years).
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and servant leadership skills, with ability to influence and inspire teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to engage and align diverse groups.
  • Understanding of Agile principles, including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certified.
  • Experience with human capital systems, especially in support of Federal customers.
