Job Overview

A leading engineering firm, Harrison Consulting Solutions, seeks an experienced Automation Systems Engineer to join their Peoria team. This is a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects in the water/wastewater treatment facilities sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, install, commission, and test process control systems (SCADA) and instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including IT, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Provide project management, manage teams, and ensure quality control during all project phases.
  • Deliver high-quality instrumentation & control design services for various facilities.
  • Perform onsite work for municipal clients, including configuration, installation assistance, and system start-up/testing.
  • Be available 24/7 on a rotational basis to troubleshoot instrumentation/control issues.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer, performing tasks like design, programming, installation, and startup.
  • Proficiency in PLCs, SCADA, and OITs software programming.
  • Familiarity with products from Concentric Integration, including Allen-Bradley SLC, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, PanelView, Rockwell FactoryTalk View, GE iFIX, Inductive Automation Ignition, Wonderware System Platform, InTouch, and others.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Prior experience with Auto CAD/Visio is advantageous.
