We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at North Kingstown School Department. As a valued member of our educational team, you will play a critical role in supporting students with communication and speech challenges.

Job Overview

This full-time position involves working with students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, providing individual and group therapy sessions, and collaborating with teachers to develop effective strategies for student success.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat students with communication and speech disorders, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and any changes to their treatment plan.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current certification or licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with students with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
