Job Title: Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing educational programs for nursing staff, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff, including orientation, continuing education, and competency assessment.
  • Collaborate with nursing leaders and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
  • Support an environment that promotes evidence-based nursing practice.
  • Manage the onboarding and orientation of new employees and students.
  • Participate in research activities, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
  • Plan, update, and evaluate clinical competencies to ensure quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a consultant/mentor/change agent for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Current RN license in the State of Florida.
  • Three years of nursing experience, preferably in a pediatric or hematology/oncology setting.
  • Educator experience preferred.
