**Job Overview:** As a Lead Meat Specialist at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., you will play a key role in driving sales in the meat department and supervising a team of hourly associates to achieve business objectives.

In this role, you will maintain an in-depth knowledge of business operations, product updates, and product specifications. You will also be expected to share knowledge and prioritize training for your team to understand item specifications and utilize approved equipment for high-volume products.

The ideal candidate will have 6 months of experience in a meat production department or 6 months of supervisory experience. A food handler certification (food safety) is preferred but not required.

The estimated salary for this position is $26.00 to $34.00 per hour, with additional premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
