Orthodontic Assistant Trainee

Clemente Orthodontics is seeking a dedicated team member to join our growing practice. This individual should be upbeat, self-motivated, and a team player, providing a welcoming experience for our patients and parents.

We are looking for a candidate with a willingness to be trained and to complete a dental assisting licensing program for the State of New Jersey. The ideal candidate should have good computer skills, excellent communication, and a drive to become a fully licensed dental assistant.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting patients in a warm and friendly manner
• Charting and record-keeping
• Sterilization and infection control
• Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
• Providing administrative support, including answering phone calls and processing payments
• Communicating treatment plans to patients and doctors
• Assisting with orthodontic procedures, including Itero scanning and panoramic X-Rays
• Removing and replacing arch and ligature wires and ties
• Assisting during bonding procedures

We prioritize the safety of our staff and patients, and all employees are required to wear a mask at all times. We provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
