We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse RN to join our team at Kindred Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients with medically complex conditions, general medical-surgical conditions, and rehabilitation and/or wound care needs.
- Supervise and delegate patient care tasks to LVN/LPN or CNA and other patient care team members.
- Promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment and make adjustments as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current RN licensure in good standing.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an ICU environment.
- ACLS certification required upon hire and maintained throughout employment.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to project a professional image and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
