We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at ATC Chicago. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing specialized computerized tomographic procedures using ionizing radiation scanning equipment.
Job Summary:
The CT Technologist will work under the direct supervision of a radiologist to perform CT scans, evaluate images, and provide patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CT scanning procedures, patient safety, and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanning equipment to produce high-quality images
- Evaluate CT scans to determine if additional scanning is needed
- Provide patient care and comfort during procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date with continuing education requirements and maintain competency in CT scanning procedures
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved CT program of study at the associate's or bachelor's degree level
- Current and unrestricted license or registration to practice as a CT technologist in the state of practice, as applicable
- One year of current CT technologist experience in the clinical setting
- Current CPR certification and other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies
