Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans using advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and administering contrast media as needed.
  • Monitor patient safety during procedures and report any abnormalities to radiologists.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care.
Requirements
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Radiologic Technologist licensure from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medical Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography.
