Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Disaster Response Crew Chief to lead our teams in responding to emergency losses and restoring properties to their pre-loss condition. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing disaster response, emergency mitigation, and restoration efforts, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead crews with onsite responsibilities, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and demolition, adhering to IICRC standards.
  • Set up and operate equipment, including dehumidifiers, fans, and air purifiers, to ensure proper setup and removal.
  • Conduct moisture mapping and loss documentation using proprietary software.
  • Perform initial loss inspections and remove damaged materials, including drywall, carpets, and insulation.
  • Complete pack-out and pack-in of customer contents, ensuring proper documentation and transportation to our warehouse for cleaning and restoration.
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Participate in our 24-hour call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours and on weekends.
  • Operate company vehicles, including water trucks, trailers, and other machinery.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in disaster response, emergency mitigation, or restoration.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to perform demolition work, including climbing, working in extreme temperatures, and confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds.
  • Water and/or mold certification preferred.
