**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at SilverTech as an Operations Director. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in process engineering, technical leadership, and business management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the biogas plant's technical, business, and biological processes, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate work processes at the plant location, ensuring efficient operations and effective teamwork.
  • Act as a liaison with specialist departments to ensure compliant operation of the plant, in accordance with building regulations, environmental laws, and the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG).
  • Monitor all processes and document measurement and work results, providing valuable insights for process optimization.
  • Develop and implement cost and revenue planning strategies to ensure the plant's financial stability.
  • Prepare environmental assessments and monitor deadlines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the team, promoting a culture of excellence and efficiency.
  • Optimize process workflows, including quality standards and occupational safety, to minimize risks and maximize productivity.
  • Organize inspections and coordinate with authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a point of contact for raw material suppliers and digestate recipients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

Requirements:

  • Completed engineering degree in process engineering, mechanical and plant engineering, or environmental technology.
  • Alternatively, a solid technical or master's degree or a degree in agricultural sciences.
  • Proven expertise in the field of biogas and a keen understanding of the complex and sensitive processes of the plant.
  • Several years of professional experience with initial management experience.
  • Competent demeanor combined with a cooperative leadership style.
  • Proficient in using MS Office.
  • Valid driver's license (Class B).
