Key Responsibilities:




  • Provide expert-level consulting support for specialized business and operations focusing on SharePoint and Power Platform.
  • Lead the analysis, migration, and modernization of SharePoint on-premises applications to SPO and Power Platform.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for the development and integration of business solutions using Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Develop and maintain architectural best practices for SharePoint and Power Platform environments.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational standards, including compliance with VA-approved technology models.
  • Collaborate with project managers and government leaders to prioritize and phase implementation, ensuring minimal disruption during migrations.
  • Deliver solutions using Agile methodology with a focus on user experience, accessibility, and operational efficiency.


Requirements:




  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field (Required). *8 additional years of directly related experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
  • 7+ years of experience in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 (M365) platform solutions, with a proven track record in SharePoint architecture, development, and administration.
  • 5+ years of experience specifically working with Power Platform technologies, including PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related process automation tools.
  • Demonstrated expertise in migrating legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online (SPO), including analysis and modernization of SharePoint-based solutions.
  • Hands-on experience leading the design, development, and implementation of solutions within the M365 ecosystem, aligning with best practices and organizational standards.
  • Experience in business process re-engineering and modernizing legacy systems using cloud-based solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint architecture and development, including custom SharePoint solutions, workflows, and document management systems.
  • Expertise in Power Platform tools (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) and their integration into business solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and other cloud-based technologies.
  • Strong understanding of application life-cycle management (ALM) within the Microsoft environment.
  • Proficiency in agile project management methodologies and Human-Centered Design principles to drive user-focused solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Section 508 compliance and the ability to ensure accessibility in all deployed solutions.
  • Proven experience in leading teams of developers and analysts, coordinating cross-functional activities with stakeholders, and managing multiple project phases simultaneously.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technical standards.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
