Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing neurosurgical services, teaching, and research at the University of Wisconsin Health. The successful candidate will be a key collaborator with other faculty in the neurological surgery and spine programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an independent research program and submit applications for extramural funding.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as continuing education programs for physicians and the public.
  • Participate in professional, public, and university service, and administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of the School of Medicine and Public Health and UW Health.

Qualifications:

  • Fellowship training in spine neurosurgery is preferred.
  • Clinical and research interest in spine neurosurgery is preferred.

Education:

  • Terminal degree (MD or DO) is required.

License/Certification:

  • MD - Physician - State Licensure
  • DO - Physician (Do) - State Licensure
  • ABNS - American Board of Neurological Surgery

Full Time: 100%
