Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for private duty homecare positions in Palm Springs. As a private duty nurse with Maxim, you will have the opportunity to provide one-on-one care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities- Assess and Plan Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collect and Analyze Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Develop and implement care plans using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
- Perform Interventions: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
- Re-evaluate and Revise Care Plans: Re-evaluate and revise care plans according to evaluation, changes in medical plans of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
- Use Clinical Judgment: Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor, including establishing priorities.
- Other Duties: Perform other RN or LPN duties as assigned.
- Current Nurse License: Current nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
- PPD or Chest X-Ray: Current PPD or chest X-ray.
- BLS Card: Current BLS card.
- Experience: One year prior nurse experience preferred.
- Enteral Feeds: Experience with enteral feeds.
- Tracheostomy Care: Experience with tracheostomy care.
- Ventilator Management: Experience with ventilator management.
- Full-time and Part-time: Full-time and part-time positions available.
- Day Shifts and NOC Shifts: Day shifts and NOC shifts available.
- 8, 10, or 12 Hour Shifts: 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts available.
