Experienced Nurse Units RN Resident

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled RN Resident to join our Experienced Nurse Units team. As a RN Resident, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination with the healthcare team.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines, ensuring well-coordinated patient care and a positive patient experience.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition.
- Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education, clinical nursing study, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- BSN preferred.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification must be presented upon hire or within one year of employment.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire or within one year of beginning work in the Emergency Department.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC - adult) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC - pediatric) must be presented upon hire or within 24 months of beginning work in the Emergency Department.
