We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to lead our Game Production Solutions team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our Creative Technologies division, you will be responsible for driving the technical strategy and direction of our Build and Release product, Skybuild.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead a dynamic team of technical leads and individual contributors, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Partnerships: Collaborate with game and technical teams within Creative Technologies, as well as with customers (game teams) to define goals and milestones.
  • Solution Architecture: Work with Product Management, Creative Technologies Leadership, and partners to design technical solutions that meet project requirements and schedules.
  • Technical Decision-making: Use your expertise to make informed technical decisions for the engineering team, articulating the WHAT, HOW, and WHY for our technology roadmaps.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, promoting an environment of learning and improvement.
  • Quality Review: Review completed engineering deliverables before release, ensuring they meet our standards of quality and reliability.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential technical risks and manage them, implementing mitigation strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years as a Software Developer, with increasing levels of responsibility, and experience working on large-scale Build and Release or collaborative platforms.
  • Technical Skills: Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD, public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and risk management.
  • Leadership Skills: 3+ years of experience as a People Manager, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
