Job Overview

Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Role Summary: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a crucial member of the therapeutic team, collaborating closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role requires a unique set of skills to effectively implement behavior intervention strategies, gather and analyze data, conduct assessments, and engage with families and community members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and execute treatment and behavior intervention plans.
  • Collect and document data accurately, ensuring daily session notes are maintained.
  • Implement discrete trial training and natural environment teaching techniques.
  • Conduct preference assessments to inform treatment strategies.
  • Report directly to the supervising BCBA regarding client progress and needs.
  • Participate in social skills training sessions and community activities as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • RBT certification (or willingness to obtain RBT training within 90 days of employment).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proficient in basic computer operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Proof of car insurance.
  • Recent criminal background check (within the last 30 days or an appointment to obtain one).

Additional Information:

We are currently seeking multiple candidates with varying availability:

  • Three candidates available from 4-7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • One candidate available from 3-6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
  • Flexible daytime availability for additional candidates.
