Marriott Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Lincoln. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our guests, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.

• Prepare and cook meals to order, using a variety of ingredients and cooking techniques.
• Ensure that all food is prepared to a high standard, with attention to presentation and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to ensure that all ingredients are available.
• Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues to ensure smooth service.

• Prior experience as a Cook is an asset, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent education is preferred.
• Culinary training is an advantage, but not necessary.
• Knowledge of cooking procedures and methods is essential.
• Able to follow all sanitation procedures and policies.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Able to relate well to guests and colleagues.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Able to learn quickly.
• Must be neat, professional, and well-groomed.
• Must possess good organization/time management skills.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
