The e-commerce sector has experienced significant expansion recently, becoming a competitive arena among leading internet firms. TikTok is poised to enhance the e-commerce experience for our vast user base.

We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our finance division, contributing to the development of a cutting-edge, secure, and user-friendly e-commerce ecosystem.

Team Overview:
The Finance BP and Business FP&A team operates within the Finance department.

This team focuses on enhancing management efficiency, spearheading key revenue initiatives, mitigating financial risks, and bolstering budget oversight through comprehensive business analysis and reporting.

This position will support the E-Commerce business unit (TikTok Shop) during its launch and growth phases in the US.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Analytics and Support:
Conduct in-depth analyses to optimize revenue, enhance expense management, and improve overall profitability. Formulate actionable recommendations and present findings to leadership.

Management Reporting:

Engage in monthly closing processes for management reporting, organizing operational data to inform business decisions, and preparing detailed financial statements that illustrate budget versus actual performance.


Forecasting and Projections:
Collaborate with Finance leadership to create financial forecasts and projections that align with core business principles.

Financial Operations Management:

Design and oversee systems that facilitate the financial operations of TikTok Shop by collaborating with various teams, including operations, product, sales, marketing, and accounting.


Procurement and Contract Review:
Assess procurement applications and financial terms in contracts to ensure effective capital allocation.

Maintain master data and budget systems: Ensure daily updates and management of budget accounts, cost centers, and other financial master data, in collaboration with the IT department.

Foster cooperation with other finance and business teams, including general ledger, accounts payable, and taxation.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or strategy and/or FP&A within a technology environment.

Soft Skills:
Excellent communication abilities, strong analytical reasoning, team-oriented, self-driven, critical thinker, adaptable, and resilient.

Hard Skills:
Proficient in data analysis, financial modeling, and financial analysis; advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Familiarity with SQL is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary for this role is $150,000 annually.

Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

Base pay is part of a comprehensive package that recognizes and rewards employee contributions, which may include additional bonuses and stock options.

Benefits Include:


100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% for dependents, and a Health Savings Account (HSA) with company matching.
