About the Role

Akima is seeking a highly skilled GFEBS Operations Manager to oversee the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) on our military installation. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of GFEBS, including data entry, report generation, and work order management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Order Management: Oversee the receipt, processing, and tracking of work orders, including dig permits and PWOs.
  • Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely data entry into GFEBS, including asset management and data tracking.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports and provide insights to stakeholders on work order progress and performance.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of employees responsible for data input and work order management.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with IT and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data retrieval and reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as client regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience managing work control processes and systems on a military installation, including at least 2 years of experience overseeing personnel performing work reception, processing, tracking, and closeout functions.
  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certifications: Secret clearance required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in GFEBS, including PM Master Data Maintainer, Preventive Maintenance Controller, Physical Inventory Maintainer, Material Requirement Planning Maintainer, Plant Maintenance Order Approver, Plant Maintenance Order Maintainer, Plant Maintenance Reporter, and Goods Receipt (GR) Processor.
