Job Description:
Santa Rosa Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team. The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • - Evaluating residents' functional needs upon referral by their attending physician or the interdisciplinary team
    - Following physicians' orders, facility policies, and procedures to evaluate and treat residents, completing required documentation for provided care
    - Collaborating with the Director of Nursing to develop communication and swallowing decline prevention policies and procedures
    - Participating in discharge planning when necessary
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice
- Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association or equivalent educational requirements
- Solid computer skills with prior experience using electronic medical records (EMR)
