We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Surgical Observation Unit at UNC Health Care. As a New Graduate Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional care to patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in the Surgical Observation Unit, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to professional standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among colleagues.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- No prior experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
