Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including myocardial infarction, heart failure, and arrhythmia.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and current research.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including medication management, wound care, and pain management.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in cardiology and critical care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Experience in cardiology or critical care nursing.
- Knowledge of current research and evidence-based practices in cardiology and critical care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
