Laboratory Technician II

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician II to support the development and qualification of products used in our Fluid Management business. As part of our New Product Introduction organization, the successful candidate will play a key role in validating components and products used in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare test samples for qualification testing and execute experiments by collecting data and recording results.
- Operate calibrated laboratory equipment to execute qualification tests, including universal testing, leak testers, and peristaltic pumps.
- Carefully adhere to outlined standard operating procedures and protocols to conduct testing and document test results.
- Effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with the engineering team and manufacturing personnel.
- Prepare layouts for components to be used for testing, setup, development, and manufacturing.
Requirements:
- Experience working with laboratory or industrial equipment safely and independently.
- Documents test results accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Generates tables and reports as necessary.
- Independently plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work.
- Demonstrated record of operating equipment safely and effectively.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Access, CAD software is a plus.
