Our client is currently seeking a Laboratory Technician II. The primary role is to support the development and qualification of products used in their Fluid Management business. As part of the New Product Introduction organization, the successful candidate will support and validate components and products used in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health. Project examples include fluid management component testing and qualification including automated burst testing, tensile testing for products used across the global fluid management network.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare test samples for qualification testing
  • Execute experiments by collecting data, and record results.
  • Operate calibrated laboratory equipment to execute qualification tests such as universal testing (tensile machines), leak testers, peristaltic pumps.
  • Carefully adhere to outlined standard operating procedure and protocols to conduct testing and document test results
  • Effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with the engineering team and manufacturing personnel.
  • Prepares layouts for components to be used for testing, setup, development and manufacturing. 

 

Requirements

  • Experience working with laboratory or industrial equipment safely and independently.
  • Documents test results accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Generates tables and reports as necessary.
  • Independently plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work.
  • Demonstrated record of operating equipment safely and effectively.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Access, CAD software is a plus
