Job Description

The Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical/Hardware Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for technical oversight, integration, and monitoring of major subsystem development subcontracts.

Responsibilities

  • Processor selection and updates
  • Lab testing and updates
  • Integration/test planning and validation/verification of Processor systems and subcomponents
Requirements
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance (investigation performed in last 5 years)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant experience
  • Strong general electrical engineering knowledge
  • Experience in electronic system and subsystem design and test, systems analysis, software-driven operations, and test schemes
  • Ability to develop system and subsystem performance requirements
  • Excellent communication skills to interface with peers, management, suppliers, and customer
  • Ability to work well in interdisciplinary environment
Desired Skills
  • 5-10 years of electronics engineering experience
  • Ability to perform requirements definition, design trades, interface definitions, development estimating and tasking
  • Electronic systems integration, testing, and troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to use test equipment to support acceptance testing, manufacturing production, and in-process testing
  • Ability to deal with highly complex and challenging customer and supplier relationships

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
