Job Title: Electronics Engineer Technician

L3Harris Fuzing & Ordnance Systems is seeking an Electronics Engineer Technician to join our team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate to design, manufacture, and test electronic and electro-mechanical devices that support war fighters for the USA and our allies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate test equipment, including manual and automated test systems, in a production environment.
  • Perform electronic troubleshooting and fault isolation to identify and resolve issues.
  • Record and maintain test data, shop routing documentation, and accept/reject data for production and engineering assemblies.
  • Assist technicians and engineers in performing Root Cause and Failure Analysis.
  • Calibrate electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards.
  • Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components.
  • Assist Engineering in establishing operating standards for test systems, including detailed test plans and work instructions.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree or equivalent formal training in Electronics Engineering Technology (or related discipline) and a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience related to testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic circuits and electronic components.
  • Working knowledge of electronic circuitry and ability to read and understand schematic diagrams.
  • Must be eligible to qualify and obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Skills:
  • Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance or higher.
  • Experience using spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators, and other RF test equipment.
  • IPC Solder Certification.
  • Experience working in the Defense Industry.
  • Experience working in Electronics Manufacturing.
