Job Overview
RICHARD WOLF MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS CORPORATION is currently seeking a skilled Medical Instrument Specialist to join our team in Boston, MA. As a Medical Instrument Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting Independent Sales Reps in the territory with the objective of increasing RWMIC market share for repairs of endoscopic products.

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. With a competitive benefits package and opportunities for advancement, this role is ideal for individuals looking to start or advance their career in medical instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Independent Sales Reps in the territory to increase RWMIC market share for repairs of endoscopic products.
  • Work in assigned account(s) Sterile Processing and O.R. departments to inspect, repair, and replace damaged instruments and electro-mechanical devices.
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance to ensure proper operation of customer's RWMIC equipment and facilitate repairs/exchanges as needed.
  • Promote on-site Repair Exchange transactions through assigned inventory and interact well with the territory reps to define proper account target selections and routes.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma; strong preference for candidates with a college degree in biomedical engineering, RN (Registered Nurse) with O.R. experience, CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician), or CST (Certified Surgical Technician) qualifications.
  • Strong oral and verbal communications skills, excellent PC skills, intermediate level on all MS Office Suite of products, and valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
  • Experience working with endoscopic equipment, knowledge of minimally invasive surgeries, and ability to work unsupervised with excellent organizational skills.
