Role Overview:
A Supply Chain Flow Specialist is tasked with managing the replenishment and fulfillment operations within the distribution center.
This role involves serving as a bridge between various departments to proactively address and resolve any challenges that may arise.
An effective Supply Chain Flow Specialist thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, embraces diverse tasks, and is driven by goals.
They are collaborative team members, maintain a positive demeanor, and exhibit exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the 21-Day Planner.
Accurately track and report metrics at the beginning of each shift, every two hours, and at the end of the shift, ensuring timely completion.
Establish daily shift objectives and labor strategies to maintain all channels within service level agreements (SLA).
Initiate each shift with a clear strategy, identifying top priorities and potential challenges.
Complete all reporting related to SLAs.
Monitor and report inbound freight performance against established plans/schedules.
Automate and sustain workflow across all operational areas.
Identify and report on aged products at all stages.
Update weekly labor planning as necessary.
Provide accurate end-of-day performance metrics.
Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to address operational issues.
Ensure all team members receive training on safety protocols, operational standards, and have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
Address employee concerns and communicate any issues to the Flow Manager.
Ensure adherence to all company policies.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
Familiarity with the Outlook Email system.
Must maintain acceptable attendance and be available for overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Capability to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for prolonged durations.
Ability to reach, pull, push, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the role, which necessitates coordinated movements.
