Your Role:

We seek an experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team as a Per Diem specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional breast cancer screening services in our Manchester, Connecticut location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specialize in producing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms for breast cancer detection and diagnosis.
  • Ensure all eligible patients receive annual screening mammograms, promoting compliance and early detection.
  • Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure, providing clear explanations to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
  • Operate digital mammography equipment, adjusting settings to optimize image quality and patient comfort.
  • Maintain accurate records, adhering to MQSA guidelines and requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, ensuring knowledge of best practices and industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
