Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL driver to join our team at Heritage Environmental Services. The successful candidate will operate semi-vans with sleeper and straight trucks as required, driving to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste material.

This is a safety-sensitive position requiring regular and predictable attendance. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule routes to maximize container pickups on single trips.
  • Prepare for daily trips by inspecting vehicles and equipment, fueling trucks, and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Complete manifests, company documents, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed.
  • Maintain logbooks for DOT compliance and state and federal regulations.
  • Drive to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste material to facilities for unloading and disposal.
  • Act as a company representative with courtesy towards customers.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years of Class A CDL driving experience required.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirators.
  • Good interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to understand RCRA compliance standards and OSHA safety regulations and DOT Regulations.
Working Conditions:

This role offers an estimated salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
