Join Our Team as a CMT Technician

Froehling & Robertson, Inc. is seeking a skilled CMT Technician to join our team. As a CMT Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring public safety by inspecting construction sites and performing field tests to verify compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform field materials testing of soil, asphalt, masonry, and concrete
  • Prepare detailed field reports with test results and observations
  • Evaluate site and subgrade conditions and provide recommendations
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and engineering staff regarding construction issues
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior construction or field testing experience preferred
  • ACI Level I Concrete, State DOT, WACEL, or ICC certifications in soils, reinforced concrete, and masonry are a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently and within teams
