About this Role

This position will be based out of our Vacaville, CA office and require regional travel to worksites. The Project Manager will be responsible for administrative, technical, financial, and resource management from bid preparation to completion.

The successful candidate will oversee all stages of the project, ensuring safety and quality standards are met and meeting deadlines. They must possess excellent communication, listening, public speaking, and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work with safety personnel to ensure that project is being built in accordance with OSHA and company regulations and that proper training is occurring
  2. Responsible for the project controls and contract management
  3. Works closely with the construction management to ensure successful delivery of the project
  4. Maintain a professional appearance with the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and to provide positive leadership to motivate personnel
  5. Define problems, collect information, and establish facts to provide an appropriate resolution
  6. Lead pre-construction efforts in bid preparation, contract and exhibit review, and execution planning
  7. Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  8. Setup, organize, update, and maintain electronic and printed files of working documents
  9. Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers
  10. Monitor/control construction through communication with superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget
  11. Manage contracts to protect company's interest while maintaining good relationships
  12. Review cost reports and evaluate methods to reduce cost while maintaining productivity
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a four-year construction science, construction management, construction engineering, or similar related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in project or construction management, estimating, or project controls experience in similar construction on major projects.

Familiar with or ready to learn corporate systems with preference given to Primavera P6, JD Edwards, QuickBase, and B2W technology platforms.

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $120,000.00/Yr. - depending on experience and qualifications.
