About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Software Engineer to join our team. As a Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Java applications using Core Java concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain complex Java applications using Core Java concepts (Collections, multi-threading, Java Templates).
    • Leverage J2EE frameworks (Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot) to build robust backend services.
    • Implement RESTful APIs, including Swagger specifications using YAML.
    • Utilize Drools Rule Engine for efficient business logic processing.
  • Frontend Development:
    • Collaborate with the UI team (Angular) to develop responsive front-end applications.
    • Utilize Python or JavaScript for additional development tasks as required.
  • Database Management:
    • Design and optimize databases with a strong understanding of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Technology Stack:
    • Proficiency in web technologies for both backend and frontend development.
    • Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) is a plus.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
    • Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, Aurora).
    • Experience with Java build tools and frameworks (Maven, Jenkins pipelines).
    • Proficiency in development tools and programming languages (Eclipse/IntelliJ, Jenkins/Maven, DB IDEs, Junit, Jackson/GSON, Univocity, XSD parser, Tomcat, Gitbucket).
  • Required Technical Skills:
    • Java V8
    • UNIX Shell Scripting
