Job Overview:

LPL Financial is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our Advisory Flexibility team within the Technology business unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sustainable, scalable capabilities that support the delivery of high-quality software products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement n-tiered web-based applications using.NET/C# and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Collaborate with other Development teams, Enterprise Architecture, and Support teams to design, develop, test, and maintain various platforms and their integration with other systems.
  • Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and prepare documentation outlining platform roadmaps.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems.
  • Work collaboratively with QA, DevOps teams to adopt CI/CD toolchains and develop automation.
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product/project support.
  • Design and develop core services and components with expertise in service-oriented architecture.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience working with.NET/C# or related Microsoft technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • 2+ years of experience working with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
  • 3+ years of in-depth hands-on working experience with SQL Server.

Core Competencies:

  • Experienced in using design patterns and implementing them with C#.
  • Experienced in designing and developing microservices using CQRS patterns.
  • Experienced in working with AWS EKS and other related AWS services.
  • Hands-on experience using Git and related workflows.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced working in an agile scrum environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience using Confluent Kafka.
  • Experience with application architecture.
  • Experience working with caching solutions like Elastic Cache Redis.
  • Experience working with source control tools like TFS, Git, etc.
  • Working with Entity Framework or any other.NET ORM tools.

Compensation:

$140,500.00 - $234,100.00 (actual base salary varies based on factors such as relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location).
