Job Description:
The Heavy Equipment Supervisor is responsible for operating heavy machinery in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves operating hydraulic excavators, rubber-tired loaders, and other equipment, as well as performing minor maintenance tasks. The supervisor must ensure all equipment is clean, inspected, and secured, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment in compliance with safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to operations staff, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain daily records of equipment usage, performance, and maintenance activities.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in environmental services or a related field.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
