Small maintenance/construction office located in North Charleston, SC looking for Heavy Equipment Operator (Aiken)

Compensation: Depending on experience ($25-$28)
Employment type: Full-time/Part-Time

CMM LLC is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators.

Description: Responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Equipment are as followed:

-Motor Grader
-Roller
-Trackhoe
-Bulldozer
-Front-end loaders
-Dump trucks
-Backhoe
-Excavators
** Other large machinery may be included

Key duties and responsibilities:

***MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE READING BLUEPRINTS***

- Performs required equipment maintenance and storage
- Must have knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques
- Must have knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
- Performs required record keeping and daily reports
- Attend meeting and report to supervisor
- Knowledge of truck and equipment safety
- Performs required equipment cleaning per standards and procedures
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment
-Performs other related duties as required.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, ordinances, and rules involved in equipment operation, and hazards and applicable safety rules and precautions for heavy equipment operation.
- Average work week consists of 40+ hours with weekly pay.
- Must have reliable transportation to work site daily
- Employee must be able to meet physical demands such as walking, bending, handling and pushing various items.
- Employee must be able to lift 70 lbs.
