Job Summary:

La Vida Del Mar is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Transportation Coordinator to transport residents to and from scheduled group activities and individual resident appointments. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and independence of our seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a bus, minibus, or van to transport residents to and from designated locations.
  • Assist passengers with mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and walkers, and secure them to restraining devices during transportation.
  • Clean and service the vehicle, including fueling, lubricating, and maintaining accessories.
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all passengers.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid and applicable Passenger Endorsed Class B state drivers' license and have a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
