Physician Assistant I Primary Care Specialist

The Brigham and Women's Primary Care Physician Assistant is a vital member of our Primary Care team, providing exceptional care to patients of all ages. As a licensed provider, you will be responsible for assessing and managing various patient populations, including pediatric and adult primary care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care, counseling, and teaching to a designated patient population in the ambulatory setting
- Perform complete histories and physical examinations
- Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement plans of care and follow-up based on diagnostic findings
- Order medications and write prescriptions according to organizational policies and procedures
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform bedside procedures as necessary
- Co-manage patient panels with a resident cohort and/or attending PCP
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Certified Physician Assistant (State License)
- 0-1 year of experience as a physician assistant (preferred for PA II role)
