We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with residents, attending physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (State License).
- At least 4 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, with a strong background in primary care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain quality control standards, react calmly in emergency situations, and adapt to changing priorities.
