About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Bridgewater, MA. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of our students.

Job Description

As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges. You will work closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify communication disorders and develop treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Implement treatment plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language challenges, providing direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents: Work collaboratively with teachers and parents to ensure that every student has access to the support they need to succeed academically and socially.
  • Monitor progress: Regularly monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings: Contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team during Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and hold a current state license in Speech-Language Pathology. Additionally, you should have experience working in a school setting and hold an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
