Key Responsibilities
  • Protocol Management
    • Develop and implement effective protocols for clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
    • Collaborate with investigators, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless trial execution.
    • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trial progress, including participant data and study results.
  • Financial Management
    • Oversee financial aspects of clinical trials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of clinical research coordinators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure successful trial execution.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge in clinical research.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA, IRB, and GCP guidelines.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably in nursing, basic sciences, clinical research, or health sciences.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in clinical research, including experience in protocol management, financial management, and team leadership.
  • Expert understanding of research ethics and the responsible conduct of research.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Research certification with SOCRA or ACRP.
  • Experience in project management, including experience with project management software and tools.
